At Edge Advertising, we specialize in creating visual solutions that are both functional and compelling. Founded by an award-winning designer with extensive experience in advertising and print, our studio is dedicated to helping clients tell their stories through thoughtful and impactful design. We focus on corporate and publication design, offering expertise in annual reports, marketing materials, and brand identity.

Doug Coates–owner:  With over 40 years of experience in design, illustration, and project management, I’ve found my passion in the advertising industry and continue to thrive in it. I’m proud to hold the Certified Design Professional (CDP) designation from The Design Professionals of Canada (DesCan), which I’ve held since 2007.
Before founding Edge Advertising, I gained valuable experience managing a leading Canadian typography shop in Winnipeg, served as art director at a major prepress business, and worked as a project manager at both Pollard Banknote and briefly at the Department of Defence in their publications division.
